This painting depicts two people seated in an outdoor setting. The person on the left appears to be a woman with pale skin and long golden hair, wearing draped clothes in shades of lilac and teal. Her left arm is resting on a rock, and she holds a tall, thin cross. The person on the right sits on the other side of the gray rock, leaning towards the woman. They have white wings, pale skin, and short, curly brown hair. They wear a detailed red and gold garment over a long white robe. A small chalice and a closed book lie between the two people on the ground. In the background on the left there are tall, dark trees, while on the right are rolling green and blue hills under a bright blue sky with fluffy white clouds.
