The print displays a natural setting filled with fallen trees and leaves. Closest to us, to the right of center, a person is climbing over a large fallen tree trunk. The person faces away from us, and they are wearing armor and a helmet. They look out over the tree trunk toward an arch that is visible in the center of the print. The arch appears to be too small to be a bridge, and its purpose or function is unclear. In the bottom right corner, behind the person, the skeleton of a large animal is visible. The rest of the background is a jumble of tree limbs, leaves, and shadows, with a large hill reaching up in the top right. The background of the print is beige paper.
