This painting shows an aerial view of a landscape with green land and pale blue water. The horizon is in the upper third of the image, where there are small green islands with trees on the water in front of a soft blue sky that is almost the same color as the water. A black sailboat is near the center of the painting, moving on the water. On the land on the left is a large gray building with a tower and a fenced-in porch, surrounded by trees and green plants. There are smaller white and yellow buildings in the center and on the right, and brown roads connect the various houses and structures in the area. The painting features pale colors and a lack of shadows or shading, giving it a flat appearance. The color palette consists of soft yellow, green, and blue-gray shades.
