Artist, French, 1867 - 1947

This painting shows a landscape with green fields extending into the distance on the left and rows of trees on the right, some with white blossoms and others with green and orange leaves. Closer to us, in the bottom right corner, there is a green table set with simple items, including a blue bowl or cup and a yellow rectangle that could be a book. The table stands on the light brown dirt, near a long path that leads through the rows of trees. At the top of the painting, a thin strip of light blue sky is visible. The painting has loose, expressive brushstrokes, especially in the foliage and sky.
