This painting depicts buildings under a clear blue sky. The horizon line is low, mostly obscured by the structures. The buildings have pointed brown roofs, and they are a pale yellow color. They are surrounded by a low yellow-gray stone wall. In front of the wall is an area of grass and dirt with a wooden wagon with two large wheels on the left and small black and white birds pecking at the ground on the right. The scene appears to be illuminated by golden light. The brushstrokes in the painting are visible, especially in the sky and buildings.
