Artist, Haitian, 1924 - 2005

This painting depicts three people inside an abstract collection of curved and wavy lines. The central person has a large head surrounded by a strip of black that could be hair or a halo. Their arms are extended upward to either side, and where the hands would typically be, there are two more heads, each surrounded by a strip of bright blue. This central person wears a green-and-black striped shirt with white ruffles at the neck, waist, and wrists, a dark red skirt, and two white cross necklaces. Their three heads are outlined in pink ovals with dark red lines. To the left and right of this central person, two smaller people seem to stand on each side near the bottom left and right corners. They each wear blue shirts with green-and-black striped pants, and the person on the left has a wide-rimmed blue hat and the person on the right has a blue headband. These two people are surrounded by red ovals filled with what look like green plants. All of the people in the painting have brown skin and minimal facial features. The background is blue and filled with wavy yellow lines, except for a brown area at the very top near the right corner.
