Painter, American, 1933 - 2022

The painting contains a series of triangular shapes radiating up from the lower right corner of the canvas. The shapes begin very thin in that corner and get wider as they travel towards the top left corner. The shapes are filled with bold colors such as red, orange, blue, brown, mustard yellow, bright yellow, and pastel yellow. On either side of this collection of shapes and between them is a light tan color. The widening shapes of these long triangles are similar to expanding beams of light.
